First set up by Paul Bacsich in 1996, Matic Media Ltd is a UK company with a wide range of clients from the education, government and corporate sectors, in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Sweden, as well as intergovernmental agencies including the European Commission, European Parliament, OECD and UNESCO. Paul has been active in consultancy since 1984. He is also CEO of Dualversity (an alliance of e-learning consultants) and involved at a senior level with various start-up digital providers.

Recent work (2022-23) includes consultancy for UK universities, a project on digital quality in higher education for OECD related to consultancy work for Hungary and Croatia, many projects for the national online learning centre of a country in Asia, and a report on digital schooling in the UK.

Current work focuses on virtual schools, in particular as Co-Guest Editor for a Special Issue of the open access journal Education Sciences on Virtual Schools for K-12 Education: Lessons Learned and Implications for Digital K-12 and Other Sectors of Education, with a preview of some issues at the EDEN annual conference in Graz, Austria in June 2024.
